Mark Moorman holds degrees in piano performance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Texas at Austin, and completed post-graduate studies at The Golandsky institute in NYC. He has studied piano with Howard Karp, Jack Radunsky, Aube Tzerkom Barbara Rowan, and John Bloomfield; vocal accompanying with Marshall Williamson; and chamber music with the Tokyo String Quartet. In addition to his work as Music Director for Theater Faction and other regional theater companies, he has served as instructor of piano at Univeristy of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Univeristy of Texas at Austin and worked as an accompanist for many voice studios. He has guest lectured at Gettysburg College and New York City Opera. Moorman is currenly on the evening division faculty of the Juilliard School and maintains a private coacching and accompanying studio in New York City.
