Steven Condy

Steven Condy, baritone, has been critically acclaimed for his singing and acting abilities, performing with opera companies throughout North America.  He recently made his European opera debut with the Spoleto Festival, Italy as Betto in Gianni Schicchi, a production that he originated with the Los Angeles Opera, directed by Woody Allen.  He also performed the title roles of Don Pasquale and Falstaff with Utah Opera, Don Magnifico in La cenerentola with Portland Opera and Austin Lyric Opera and Dr. Dulcamara in L’elisir d’amore with Washington National Opera. Upcoming engagements include Il barbiere di Siviglia with Shreveport Opera and “Bravissimo! Bel Canto!” with Lyric Opera Baltimore.  Mr. Condy is Director of Opera Workshop at Cairn University, and the Director of the Vocal Intensive Study Program with the MasterWorks Summer Music Festival.
